This is 100% on Dropbox, and I lost over $1200.00 of work that day. I re-installed Dropbox but NOT The new update. After rebooting a few times in Safe Mode, this behavior finally stopped. BUT the system was still writing over 3000 functions per second back-and-forth to my hard drive. I uninstalled Dropbox and removed all Dropbox items from my machine. My housemate was able to remove the files through the Terminal, and then I did a system re-install. The "New" Dropbox for Mac OS filled my hard drive with "System Files", to a degree my computer wound't function because there was no hard disk space. However, only because my housemate is a software engineer and he worked some magic for me. ![]() ![]() Hi- Yes, after spending 2 hours on the phone with Apple, and 3 hours at the Genius Bar, I was able to get it resolved.
